If you’d like an almost endless supply of FREE books delivered directly to your iBooks, Kindle, or Nook app -- or almost any other eBook reader app -- then you’ll want to install eBook Search right now.
It’s like having VIP access to the world’s largest bookstore… crammed to the rafters with over 2 million books, and open 24/7. Best of all, it fits into your iPhone or iPad.
No matter where you are -- lying by the pool, chilling in your local Starbucks, or waiting at the airport -- you’ll always have a great book to read.
You’ll simply browse through the eBook Search catalogs, pick a book, and after a couple of taps on the screen you’ll be reading the book on your favorite eBook reader app -- Kindle, Nook, or iBooks (or most other reader apps)… it’s up to you.
eBook Search taps into a little known supply of classic books -- by authors like Jane Austen, and Mark Twain. All the books you’ve promised yourself you’ll read “one day.”
That day is now. With eBook Search you’ll catch up on all the reading you’ve missed, with a world of great literature at your fingertips. But it’s not just the classics you get with eBook Search.
Modern-day stories -- thrillers, mysteries, fantasies, science fiction, and more -- are there at the touch of your finger. It doesn’t matter which genre “floats your boat”, you’ll discover a huge selection to choose from. And you’ll stumble on wonderful books you’d never heard of that’ll send you down new paths of adventure and excitement.
All those wasted minutes, when you could’ve been reading “if only you’d brought a book”… are instantly transformed into hours of pleasure with eBook Search.
And remember, you can read all of these books on any eBook reader. Kindle, Nook, iBooks, MegaReader, or almost any other app, it doesn’t matter. There’s no need to learn how to use some new-fangled eBook reader. eBook Search puts your chosen book directly on to your favorite eBook app.
But here’s where it gets really good. Every single book you get with eBook Search -- and there’s over 2 million of them - is absolutely free.
When your friends are handing over their hard-earned cash for an eBook from the big name stores (and moaning about the outrageous price for a book you can’t even hold in your hands), you’ll have instant access to more books than you could possibly read in a lifetime… and they won’t cost you a single cent.
While your friends are paying $9.33 for “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, you’ll be reading it for free. While your friends are paying $14.93 for “Tom Sawyer”, you’ll be reading it for free. And it’s the same with thrillers, romances, science fiction, and more.
It’s up to you. Keep on throwing your money away buying books from those other guys -- you know the ones. Or, keep the cash in your pocket, and get 2 million free books with eBook Search.
Tap that blue button right now and install eBook Search. It’s free.
What's New in Version 2.1
• Now with enhanced iBookstore catalog.
• iTunes File Sharing support.
• Bug fixes.
This application serves its purpose. So many great titles—from the well-known to the obscure—are in the public domain, that, if you're a reader like I am, there's no reason not to have a one of them at your fingertips. I actually read most stuff in physical book form, but sometimes you find yourself with time to kill and your physical copy is not handy. This application—along with Project Gutenberg & the Internet Archive—is here to help. You can always pick up where you left off in your other copy. Why not? It's just silly not to take advantage of the technology. Don't worry, you're not helping to turn physical books into antiques. Inasmuch as that's going to happen, it will happen irrespective of whether or no you use this app. But, honestly, those fears are overblown: the physical book isn't going anywhere, its place within culture is just changing, but it's been around for a long time and will be around for a long time to come. Support your local bookstore AND use this app.
Free and functional
I found this app while considering the purchase of Megareader. I needed an app that allowed me to add a catalog. If you just use this app with the built-in databases, you can get plenty of books but you aren't using it right. If you follow simple steps to add a catalog like TUEBL, you can legally download hundreds of newer titles immediately and, of course, free of charge. The only negative are the pop-up ads, but that's to be expected for a free app. Do a little research and reap the awards -- you can stroll through a bookstore, see something you like, and download it on the spot.
Interesting finds, but search engine needs work
There are a vast number of books accessible through this app, but browsing by author basically does not work. "Authors beginning with C" will get you authors whose last name starts with C, first name starts with C, or have a middle initial of C. Using the search bar to find an author also gives poor results. If the search feature were fixed, I would give this five stars.
