Too Basic

Too basic. It only covers 4 subjects: exponents, expressions, order of operations, and fractions.

Most of this I learned not from algebra class, but from basic 6th grade math (pre-algebra).

Moreover, it only covers the introductory portions of each subject. For example, the exponents section only covers the expression of exponents, not the division, subtraction, multiplication, or addition of exponents. Again, too basic!

The topics covered are covered well, but this is an expensive app considering that only 4 very basic subjects are covered, and not to their full gamut or depth. I'm not expecting everything there is to know about these subjects, but at $3.99 there needs to be more than PRIMARY level math.

I'm giving this 3 stars, not because the app is bad, but because it needs more. As a matter of fact, I really like this app. I want all to know that I really enjoy this app.

Unfortunately, this doesn't come close to being algebra 1.

I agree with the reviewer below!!

I've been out of school for 25 years... And one reason I never went back is because I knew I couldn't pass a math placement exam because of the algebra. Before I can take my accounting classes I have to take algebra!! Thank you Jamie... I've only been through three lessons but I GET IT SO FAR!! You've accomplished the impossible already. I get SOMETHING ABOUT ALGEBRA!!! You just may be the angel I've been looking for to give me the confidence to do this!!!

Just Wanted To Let You (EVERYONE) Know How Much I Love This App!!! Worth Every Penny!!! I Cried Like A Baby In My Fundamentals Of Math Class On Tuesday, Only Because I Was So Afraid Of Not Grasping The Orders And Rules Of Math, I Literally Had A Math Anxiety Attack.....I Bought This App Tuesday Night...Today I Passed With An " A " On My Test, And Got 100 Percent On My Homework. I Didn't Have To Use A Calculator!!!! Jamie You Are AMAZING!!!!!! Thank You So Much!!!!!!! Please Keep The Lessons Coming.
