Site needs some technical work please!

Am so happy that there is an app dedicated to supporting plant based folks but I find the app very frustrating to use. When you go deeper into the searches, you can't always get back to the app. It doesn't refresh either and I have had to exit the app, delete the app, and download it again just to get back to a new search. It feels like there needs to be a technical update. That said, it is all there is and for this I am thankful. To all the users, like me, please report when a store has closed or moved location. This app relies solely on those reporting. It is really an app built on honesty and trust. In this way, it's kind of like something out of the 60s-70s which is both good and at times bad, as others have reported about stores being closed when they get there. I usually look them up on TripAdvisor after I research here and call first before I go. Blessings to those who started this, but somehow you have to get into this century. Kickstarter fund raising would be awesome. I'd be there to support if you could bring this app up a notch, technically.

Needs work

First of all I do love this app. There have been plenty of times when this app made my day wonderful, finding delicious vegan food during my travels.

I'm here to complain though. These days, it seems like half the destinations from happy cow that I walk to are either closed permanently, displayed with the wrong hours on happycow (so closed when I get there), or the address on happy cow is wrong and puts me in the completely wrong location.

It's gotten to the point that when I travel with my family (most of them completely fine with going to vegan places), they groan when I pull out my phone for happycow because it has so often led us astray.

I know that this is not any ones fault specifically, but it can be mediated, for example incentivizing people to update hours, addresses, etc., will make the app stronger in general. I know that I could've done this many times but was too bitter and disappointed to fix something for a city I will probably never return to.

The app is honestly still worth it (if you're vegan, I'll never understand why vegetarians need this app), and travel a lot or even relatively frequently.

What would I do without you?

We are strict vegans who travel a lot. This app has been indispensable so many times. And some of the areas we visited, the only place to eat was a grocery store or the crap shoot of calling a bunch of places only to end up with a plain salad over and over. In the smaller towns especially, knowing where to find a vegan option is so wonderful. We've also done several day trips just to try a new restaurant. :-) All of the info that you need to make a decision is on the app. Directions, hours, reviews and other details make it so easy. Thank you thank you thank you
