What's New in Version 2.2
In this version we've made numerous changes and improvements to how the app receives data updates.
I honestly don't understand the negative reviews!
I downloaded this about a week ago. Then, I paid $4.99 to have access for an entire year to all the 48 Hours episodes from 2005 until now. To use it, we just open the app up on our iPad, mirror it up through the Apple TV to our television, and watch the episodes of our choosing on our tv. (Or we just watch them right on our iPad). Easy, simple. We've already watched several episodes of 48 Hours with this app and have had absolutely no problems. We were even able to watch the most recent 48 Hours episode with this app before the episode even broadcast on tv. And, the picture was a clear as a bell. Honestly, I do not understand the negative reviews because as I said, we have already watched several episodes through this app and have had absolutely no trouble with it. If you are a 48 Hours fan as we are, I highly recommend that you give it a try. I truly don't think you'll be disappointed.
This App Does Not Appear to be Working
Below is a review I have apparently written before. The sentiment is the same AGAIN. For a major news corporation that wants to have an on-line presence, this really is pathetic. There is always something with this app. Half-shows, 15-minute promos uploaded as complete shows. And now, the shows for 2008 have been halved in number and 2007 and before don't even seem to be there. And every time I write to CBS to note this, I get a really self-righteous response that "CBS wouldn't offer an inferior product." Okay, then don't. Fix it! Please start giving us what we pay for. THANK YOU.
I love this app, but it is a pain in the neck! Today, it doesn't work at all. It pulls up, but it does not seem to connect to the program. Instead, the screen remains black. BORING!!!
Also, a lot of the programs are not quite right. Some are only 10 minutes long when they are supposed to be 40.
FIX IT! We pay for a working app. thanks.
I've been paying for this app for about 2 years now and I really love it! I've had no issues the entire time I've had it and highly recommend it to everyone!
