In this version we've made numerous changes and improvements to how the app receives data updates.
I honestly don't understand the negative reviews!
I downloaded this about a week ago. Then, I paid $4.99 to have access for an entire year to all the 48 Hours episodes from 2005 until now. To use it, we just open the app up on our iPad, mirror it up through the Apple TV to our television, and watch the episodes of our choosing on our tv. (Or we just watch them right on our iPad). Easy, simple. We've already watched several episodes of 48 Hours with this app and have had absolutely no problems. We were even able to watch the most recent 48 Hours episode with this app before the episode even broadcast on tv. And, the picture was a clear as a bell. Honestly, I do not understand the negative reviews because as I said, we have already watched several episodes through this app and have had absolutely no trouble with it. If you are a 48 Hours fan as we are, I highly recommend that you give it a try. I truly don't think you'll be disappointed.
One of my favorite true crime shows for the better part of twenty years. I've had the app for almost two years now. At first it was great then over time there have been issues. Crashing, blank screens, half episodes ( some only ten minutes). I see most new subscribers have no problem. Wait, you will, like everyone else. I have written several times to get some kind of answer, and every time I never get a response. I wouldn't tell you to not get the app, or even spend the $4.99 it's worth it, when it works. But be prepared to get very frustrated over time.
I absolutely love 48 hours and was very excited to find this app when I was traveling for work and found myself in a hotel without decent TV (no investigative news or ID channel). When I returned home I continued to use the app as again I love 48 hours; however I find myself shutting it off in deep frustration after I get kicked out several times or I stare at a black screen for several minutes.
Emails have been sent multiple times with no response and no update fixing the issue.
Please fix these issue so that ALL episodes can be enjoyed.
