Great but buggy
Getting paid to take pictures of vegetables and working out is great. It definitely has me eating more fruits and veggies than I did before. My biggest problem with it is that it doesn't link with enough 3rd party apps. For example I use strava for my biking and running. Running works out fine because it just counts my steps but there is no way for pact to know I've just done a 50 mile bike ride. Very annoying. Also the app is a little buggy and you definitely have to have patience when uploading pictures and waiting for anything to appear on the app. Overall I'm very happy with using pact!
Terrible service - ripped off
The gym check-in NEVER works, so I have to use the motion detect feature. Just annoying because I have to hold my phone the whole time I'm on the treadmill instead of sitting it in front of me so I can watch something while working out. Two weeks ago I sprained my ankle and put my pact on a break. Was still charged $10. Contacted customer service and they said you can't start a break in the middle of the week, plus they need a doctor's note. Really? You can't control when an injury happens. I wasn't able to work out because of the sprain, but I didn't go to the dr or miss work. And if the break doesn't go into effect when you enter it, the app should really notify you of that.
4 Stars working on 5
Love this app! Get paid to exercise and eat fruits or vegetables, yes please!
Pact helps me stay focussed and conscious of a healthy lifestyle. I can constantly challenge myself by modifying my Pact each week. I can't wait to cash out my rewards and buy a new pair of running shoes!
The app is sometimes glitchy when saving activities but customer service is great and they can help you resolve any issues.
