Expecting Nutrition is an interactive app that was created to help women before, during and after pregnancy keep track of nutritional intake and make good choices about what foods you put into your body. By keeping track of what foods you eat on a daily basis you can see patterns of good or bad nutritional choices made daily. Expecting Nutrition will not only help you keep track of your nutritional intake but also make it easy to share your information with your health care professionals. Our goal is to help you make good educated choices about your nutrition for yourself and your baby.
You can also see all of your logs and charts online at ExpectingNutrition.com and even e-mail or print your reports too!
We're going to be with you for a while so please don't hesitate to give us feedback or let us know if you encounter problems. We want this to be the best pregnancy companion app you have. E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Pretty good, could use a few more features
Pretty good app, does what it says it does. Clean interface for easy navigation. 2 changes I'd like to see: it needs to be easier to find basic foods like "honey" or "oats". Instead of scrolling through a huge alphabetical list I'd like to see some generic options at the top. As well as some homemade options for things like coffee or tea. The other feature I'd like to see is a calorie goal. I'm pregnant and still nursing and it would be helpful to see wether I met or went over my calorie goal of the day and a break down of what those calories were- carbs proteins and sugars. Other calorie apps do this but they are focused on weight loss which is not what I need. It's a great app and its going to be very handy!
What I expected but has a major big
While this app was exactly what I expected - a way to easily track the calories and protein I was consuming (as opposed to a spreadsheet I maintained in my first pregnancy), there is a major bug that renders it useless. Every few days all of my data is completely wiped out - so I lose my history and even the current days info. While I love the idea of the app, this bug makes it pointless. I've emailed the tech support but received no response. Until this bug is fixed, don't waste your money!
Needs a lot of work
Searching for foods to enter is not easy. I can’t pull up anything simple like “egg” or “fried egg”, it has to have a brand. There’s not “black coffee” or “brewed coffee”. It seems the list is favored to pre-made store bought foods. A barcode scanner instead of manual search would be great. Logging from past days or meals would be great too.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
