Didn't like it.
Maybe you will like it - there are a lot of good reviews. But I hated it. First of all, there is no adventure. As far as I can tell, it is the same thing over and over. First, a picture where you have to find objects for which you see the silhouette. But the objects can not only differ in size, they can be sideways so the silhouette does not match. Then the second phase is that they show you what you are supposed to find, but you are mostly in the dark, and supposedly the object comes and goes. For the most part I just clicked wildly in the general area. And I am not bad at HOS. Third phase was a picture with a bunch of objects. You have to click on as many obviously gold ones as you can in 60 seconds. Is that supposed to be fun? Maybe it got better, but I was disgusted and deleted it.
I'm giving this 2 stars for interest, and a 3 out of 10 for difficulty. I would have given it beginner status except for the fact of not being able to expand the screen, which is taken up by 3 borders (thereby squishing the size even further), objects hidden under the top promo banner, and shadow objects not being the correct outline or orientation. I personally like the challenge of guessing the shadow objects that are not exactly as shown, but a newbie might be confused. The storyline is just a line or two to get you to the next HO frame. There are no extra puzzles, other than tapping gold objects to get points (ho-hum). No difficulties loading, or glitches, thank goodness. Too pricey for what you get, but at least the game is long.
If you want to sell a paid app then just charge up front or denote as a "lite" version. To start play only to ask for $5- after 2 ultra simple boards is not only a waste of my time, it is insulting.
I am so tired of cheap tricks, apps that appear to be free or low cost, only to be asked to spend money to open parts of the game or make the action move quicker (such as another disappointing game that, w/o spending a considerable amount of money, each turn would take hours! -- it wasn't even a challenging game and a five year old could've come up with more creative graphics).
I don't mind spending money on a game upfront or after trying out the lite version, but I am tried. of companies not being clear upfront. And with all the hidden object games available, this is surely NOT one that is worth $5- or any more of my time.
