Most pictures are said to be worth a thousand words. With Printed Ink, you can find and share pictures worth 500 billion words! Printed Ink allows you to view the popularity of anything compared to anything else for the last 500 years!
How? With the help of Google Books, Printed Ink will graph any words or phrases, in a variety of languages, to show how frequently they have appeared in books during the last 500 years. This search of human culture through millions of books takes place in only a moment, and from the palm of your hand!
Using Printed Ink is as simple as typing in a search, then watching the results flow onto your screen. Two taps later and a graph can be emailed, or your findings shared with friends on Facebook. Whether you're doing research for a project and want to easily make a unique graph, or are curious and want to explore the history of just about anything, Printed Ink is the perfect app!

Original and Beautiful
This app is really interesting! I had already tried inDecision by the same developer, and the quality of graphics is visible in this second app. The concept itself is something I've never though of before but searching words turns out to be pretty addictive and a lot of fun! I keep thinking of new combinations to compare and I'm always interested with the result. I haven't posted to Facebook yet, but I might when I find a really cool graph. Also I could see how one might try and use these graphs they make with a project or something- the things you find are really informative. I would say this app is a must buy, even for a casual user like me! Keep up the good work.
I love this app for linguistics research. It's also a heck of a lot of fun to introduce in groups of people. The comparisons option is super but brings up the one thing needed for 5 stars. All of the data input should be retained after you do a search; I often find I want to change the range or substitute a different second word. Re-entering all the data except for one change is a drag. Of course, I probably wouldn't be able to put it down then.
All in all, looks super, acts fast and supplies data I don't know where I would have gotten before.
This is a really excellent app. My wife and I have already used it to settle an argument. I wish I had this app years ago. The interface is clean and it returns the results very quickly.
I can't wait to have some fun with it at the office on Monday, It's apps like this that show you how to really leverage the internet for answers. I say - just buy it., it really works.
