Box-moving puzzle with nice graphics
I'm a huge fan of Jolly Roger, so when I saw this was by the same devs, and they were advertising it as an adventure, I expected another great, humorous adventure game. Boy, was I wrong!
This is a boring, repetitive box-moving maze with good graphics and some humor, if you want to take the time to look at every darned thing around you!
Quite frankly, I feel I was definitely misled about the nature of this game. If you like Sokoban puzzles give it a go. If you're looking for a humorous point and click adventure game, skip it!
Playing this on my iPod Touch, back in August 2012, the pace was excruciatingly slow. It didn't improve a lot on my iPad 3rd gen. Now that I own an iPad Air 2, this plays a lot faster and more smoothly, and it's a lot more enjoyable speeded up like that. No more waiting forever for the guy to walk across the screen, change to a werewolf, walk slowly back, and ever so slowly move the box to where you need it to go.
I still think the game needed a bigger variety of puzzles to solve, but if you're a Sokoban fan, and have a more modern device to play it on, give it a go. I'm raising my rating from a 2 to a 4 just for the increase pleasure at being able to play this at a much more reasonable pace.
One of my first games years ago!
I never finished playing it then because I wasn't very experienced at these sorts of games (although this game really has no comparison that I've seen). Picking it up now a few years later and with quite a few games under my belt. Still find it just as fun, funny, punny (groan), and absolutely engaging! My only problem is that the size of the game listed in the description is somewhere around 400MB, when really it downloads on an iPad Air at 1.1GB! That may not be a problem for most people, but against the sound Genius Bar advice, I keep my 64GB iPad pretty full and depend on accurate size estimates in descriptions to decide what to download at the time. Please update this!
Came across it by an accident but love every second it. The game play is fool-proof and the story is simply terrific!
I found myself wanting more and more bits and pieces of the plot to be unraveled as soon as I could.
The humour is outstanding! Not only the protagonist, the werewolf, gets joked about by others, but he makes fantastics jokes about his state as well.
Beautiful art and marvelous amount of developer's commentary built seamlessly right into the gameplay.
Definitely 5/5 and a Must Buy.
