Easy to use, and it just works,
I've used Promptr for several major pitches now and it works flawlessly! It is so awesome to be able to give a speech without stumbling. I've had several people comment on how polished I sounded, and they had no idea I was on a prompter.
I'm looking forward to more features in the future, but for now Promptr does exactly what it promises. It turns your iPad into a TelePrompter, it is super easy to use, and it works every time.
What a great idea to synch to DropBox... except version 1.1 doesn't do that, despite the release notes... nor does it create a "promtr" folder in DropBox, nor does it recognize any kind of file if you create a promter folder in DropBox yourself to put the file in... so be prepared to freshly type everything into Promtr yourself. Seem like a great idea, but the execution right now is pretty user un-friendly. Better luck next time.
It's simple. It's perfect.
All I wanted was an app that displayed clean scrolling text that took up the whole screen. Where I could control the speed and size precisely.
That's what this does really well and it's perfect for me.
