Little Digits - Finger Counting

Little Digits is a fun educational app that teaches children about numbers by putting a new spin on finger counting.
Using the iPad multi-touch screen, Little Digits displays number characters by detecting how many fingers you put down. Children can learn to associate the number on the screen with the number of fingers they place down, whilst enjoying the unique characters and animations of the Little Digits world.
There are also games that introduce small addition and subtraction calculations, where you can work out the answer using the same multi-touch finger detection.
This is an app that will grow with your child's numerical understanding. Not only can they discover numbers through initial independent play, you can also play collaboratively with your child, each putting fingers down to count and work out calculations together. Then when your child is ready, they can work out the answers for themselves, using their own little digits!
The voice sounds are in English, but you can record new voices within the app.

Small bug fixes
Good idea, but...
This is a very small app. You put your fingers down and it will show the number of fingers on the display, if they are not too close together. On our sons little fingers it will miscount, which leads to confusion. Also, it does not teach how to count up and down, if children add more than one finger at a time it simply changes the number on the display but does not give any kind of feedback.i wish it would give cues such as: put down one more finger to get to two, three etc.
also, it would have been nice to be able to save grogress and practice numbers up to five first. By using just one hand for that there would be less confusion possible and a more clear picture on how the counting is supposed to work. I was hoping to find sth that actually gives feedback on how to use your fingers to count but this app will definitely not do it. I would not recommend or buy again.
We bought this app a year ago. It crashed so much that our daughter never really enjoyed playing with it too much. However, she does like recording her voice for the numbers. So if your child likes hearing her own voice, this is your math app.
