What's New in Version 3.5.00
This has been the worst experience. The app never seems to work when you need it the most. I drive for Sidecar and a customer with Sidecar.
I have friends who work for Sidecar and everyone has the same problem. If the app does not work how does Sidecar make money. As of today I have not been able to get a ride nor give s ride. This has been going on for days. Please don't ask if I deleted and reinstalled because that my go to. Also when there is a glitch in the system the drivers don't get paid. If the drivers don't get paid then no one should get paid. There should be a deprecate account set aside to pay the drivers even when you are having difficulties with the app.
On to customer service. Why does it take weeks for any one to respond to any inquiry?
Other customers have complained in past that the customer service is the worst ever experience. If Sidecar wants to move forward with new business I strongly suggest that you look at the big picture, restructure the entire organization. I've played Angry Bird for years. It's a app! Perhaps Sidecar hire that app designer and fire the team I charge of the app.
I’ve been a customer since the app was released. Used it in different cities and at one point this was my favorite ride sharing app. However, I’ve consistently found the app to be glitchy and unresponsive. The customer service has declined over the years as well. I’ve wasted so much time emailing them about issues, technical to billing, and never get a resolution. I’ve found some of their customer support people don't read the emails, and will just send a prewritten email as their response. My issues have never really be resolved and the app isn’t worth using anymore. I’d much rather just call a taxi these days. I don’t recommend this app at all. Hopefully they can fix their issues because they started off great.
Unauthorized charges and other issues.
My card has been charged multiple times because either a driver canceled or asked me to cancel bc they couldn't get to me in the time the app said they would arrive. The email I got about this issue didn't even include an apology & said depending on your card it will show up as a charge for 3 days or pending. I'm still waiting for money to go back on my card. Another issue with this app is the driver can deny your request to be picked up, this once left me waiting 30+mins for a driver to accept my request. This app does have some positive features that other ride sharing apps don't have, but for me the negatives outweigh the positives.
