From Zero To Sixty Lightening Fast
Okay, so this review is as much about the company as the app. I applied to a job online that somehow forced me to create an account here. . . My goodness, in one week I have had two interviews with callbacks from both for second rounds as well as several multiple viewings. I am a mid-life mom reentering the workforce. My previous attempts at online submissions were seemingly lost in oblivion. I am stunned by the response I’ve had so far. The app seems functional enough. I agree with other reviewers that too many emails are sent and it should be easy to control those. In addition, I also think that I should be able to filter by salary or negate jobs in advance that are presented without salary info. It is the penultimate waste of time (for both the company and applicant) to go through an often lengthy interview process only to be offered a job for dismal pay that one would never have considered in the first place - maybe entry level workers don’t need this feature but those of us in the middle with, perhaps, supervisory or mid-level skills (not entry level but not MBA’s either) do need to know what the salary range is. Other than these two things I am very impressed. The most luck I’ve had in a job search in ages.
Is it a job or a career? It’s Zip-Recruiter!
I am a 57 years old man and never really looked for employment. I always had a job, so there was never a need to look for one, until recently when I found myself unemployed. I had no clue where to start or how to look for a job, until I heard an
advertisement on the radio for Zip-Recruiter. So I downloaded the app on my iPhone and wow you taught me the rest. I like the way you continue to interact with me, telling me the status of my applications throughout the process. As well as, at the same time giving me new job leads. I also downloaded the Indeed and Monster Apps, but hands down, Zip-Recruiter is the better product for a newbie like myself. I don’t have a job as of yet, but I have had two interviews and have three interviews scheduled this coming week. This time last week I was scared, lost, and I was hopeless that I would find a job, then I found Zip-Recruiter. In one week I was convinced that I’m not only going to find a job, but I’m going to find the career for the next phase of my life. Thank you Zip-Recruiter, you have made a difference in my life. And your the best buddy I got right now, oh with the exception of my dog. 😊
BEST EMPLOYMENT SEARCH SERVICE ONLINE
I really like this service. They do a pretty good job of matching jobs, although I sometimes get weird jobs sent to me..example: I am a social worker and frequently get nursing jobs sent to me. But it’s not a big deal. I haven’t come across scams-those tend to be in sales and some customer service. I like that Zip keeps you up to date on your application status such as emails each time a prospective employer views your app. It’s encouraging, which I like since job searching can be a blow to your ego. I’ve had times my app has been viewed 3 times and Ziprecruiter gets excited with you. Love that! Their job pool is kind of small compared to Indeed and Career Builder, but I like that. I’m just putting my toe in the water in looking for a job after a long time of not working. I think once I get more serious I will make Ziprecruiter my first choice, but I will most likely use Indeed too...adding more search help as needed.
If you want personalized service and encouraging emails along the way choose Ziprecruiter. Plus their 1-tap apply is a great feature too!!
