Conditions for iOS makes checking the weather on the go simple, fun and beautiful.
Many weather apps clutter their interface and overload their users with tons of details that aren't all that useful.
Conditions only shows you the most important information about what it's like outside right now, wherever you are, anywhere in the world.
=== 5 Day Forecast ===
Conditions displays a simple, 5 day forecast indicating what it's going to be like outside each day, including the temperature.
=== Simply simpler ===
You can easily tap anywhere on the face of Conditions to toggle it into an even simpler mode, showing only what it's like outside right now.
=== Day & Night ===
Conditions knows when it's dark outside and will automatically adjust it's look and feel to match the time of day.
What's New in Version 1.1
- Greatly improved Accessibility and VoiceOver support!
- Fixes bug that could possibly cause a crash on launch
- Improved day/night cycles accuracy
- Other minor bug fixes
Also: You can change your Fahrenheit/Celsius preference by going to the Settings app on your device, scroll down and tap 'Conditions' there.
While we most often want to have as much info at our fingertips, this app flies in the face of that. Sure, it accomplishes what it sets out to do. It tells us the weather. What it doesn't tell us is the weather in somewhere we are not. Thus the the beauty of this app. It is local, local, local.
It is a time saver as it is... really just a standalone, tell you what you NEED resource. I'm happy the interface work free from clutter.
Beautiful, but not quite great.
This app is beautifully designed in its typography, spacing, iconography, everything. And while I love (and admire) its simplicity, I find myself wishing I could swipe left/right to change locations and swipe up to get to an hourly forecast. Those are all I need for this app to be perfect for me, and I don’t think it would detract from the elegance of the current app. Still, nice work on this.
Simple and elegant.
After cycling through more than a dozen weather apps, I finally found Conditions. I don't need radar, hour-by-hour projections or anything like that. Just what the weather is now and might be later. Conditions does that in a slick, elegant style that loads and updates quickly. Worth it!
