Use the app to pay for all your purchases. You can either add a plastic card or purchase a virtual card via the app. Simply tap the DD Card you wish to use and present the barcode to the DD crew member to be scanned, and you’re good to go. You can also manage and reload your DD Card right from the app.
Receive a reward for a free medium beverage for just signing up to the DD Perks Loyalty program. Earn points by paying with your enrolled DD cards and redeem your rewards and offers right from the app.

App glitches, poor support
A neighbor introduced me to the app and the perks program. We were in the drive thru line, loading the app and loading money onto a new card. It was very intuitive and easy. Using the scanner in drive thru made purchase more efficient and simple for the customer and the restaurant. The perks are nice to receive, especially for an everyday consumer like me. However, if you have a problem, don't expect to reach a live human through D&D customer support phone line. You will be on infinite hold. Email from the website and the mobile app isn't much better. After a week of trying to get help for a recurring payment issue, and accidentally deleting my card, finally a support rep contacted me. She found my lost balance and gave me free perks for inconvenience. There is still one unresolved issue and she's not responding to email and there isn't a different number to call. Additionally, today, the mobile app wasn't working and I couldn't access the funds on my card. If you're going to use the app, proceed with caution, and don't use a debit card for recurring payment.
Gotta know what ur doing
This card is very efficient if you know what your doing, when this was first introduced the company handed out cards that were pre activated, these were a first come first serve thing, after the stores ran out of them they could no longer order them, you can use a precious gift card that you have received as a gift or you can get one for free in store and add money to it the first time in store to activate at, once you have added the card to your perks app you may continue adding money to it in store or over your phone, you collect points for every dollar spent when using the card. It works out great considering I spend at least $20-$30 a week here. After reading all the bad reviews it boils down to either you know what your doing or you don't! Good luck, I love it.
Does its job quite well
The rewards system is a wonderful way to give a little back to recurring customers. I love the coupons and bonus offers they have. The interface is a little clunky when using both a coupon and paying with the app. This could be streamlined. Plus, you should really be able to combine cards when your balance reaches less than $1. This way people won’t have to open multiple barcodes at the register. Otherwise, I’ve really enjoyed using it.
