The IDPA Score app is an app built to allow an individual shooter the ability to keep track of their match score as they shoot a match. This allows them access to their match results early as well as allows them to compare them to the official results instantly.
In a club match the shooter is usually notified of their results within days of the match IDPA Score will allow you to know your scores immediately. In a sanctioned match the results are posted the same day, usually several hours later. Once results for a sanction match are posted a shooter can contest any possible mistakes made in the tabulation of their score by the officials. This app allows you to have a record of your match, which you don't get in most club matches as well as have accurate scores to compare to the official results in the sanctioned matches.
This is the initial release of this app. I plan on expanding the functionality to app in the near future to allow scores to be posted shared and compared online or in app with your friends.
Please send all feature requests to support[at]idpascore.com, If it's a good idea, I will include it in the App free of charge as an update.
Good but costs a kidney
It's a cool app. You can keep track of your classifiers and matches and know that you got beat before they know they beat you haha. The only thing is that for the price there should be more bells and whistles like a shot timer, ability to import data into excel would also be cool to enter load data on the match as it pertains to ammo and gun used. $9.99 is wayyyyy over priced for the simplicity of what it does. Would like to see it calculate what percentage the shooter was in based on division and overall standings and other critical data. Graphs to track progress. Great start but it's more like a 2.00 app for what it's doing. No offense, just saying, for the price you need more meat on the plate. Or at least a lite version.
Does The Job
It give you everything you need to properly score your IDPA match. The user interface is a little cumbersome at first, but once you figure it out, it goes smoothly. It needs an update for the iPhone 6 as it's a little stretched and the buttons don't function as quick as they should. Looking forward to an update soon with a few more features.
No Printing, Export
Looks like a decent 1.0 release. Needs printing and and export function to CSV. Ability to create the stages on the fly as you go to each stage would be nice. A built-in IDPA shot timer would be nice. Also saving profiles for club setups.
