Basecamp for iPhone - Official App

By Basecamp, LLC

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

The official app for Basecamp, the world's #1 project management app.

• Check in on your projects from anywhere. Basecamp for iPhone shows you the latest news on each project.
• Jump in on a discussion and post your thoughts.
• View progress as team members complete to-dos and upload files.
• Everything from your projects is available, so you can refer to a document or make a decision no matter where you are.

Basecamp for iPhone now works great with Basecamp Classic accounts, too! If you're part of one or more Basecamp Classic projects they will be listed right below your new Basecamp accounts. You can read messages and post comments, add and complete to-dos, see your milestones and peruse your Writeboards right from the app!

What's New in Version 2.0.2

Hi there! We've got a few fixes ready for you with Basecamp for iPhone 2.0.2, including:

* To-dos are now visible once again for everyone on iOS 8.3.
* No accounts? No problem. If you got stuck before and had to reset the app, now there's an escape hatch.
* Buddhist calendar users no longer create todos due in the (Gregorian) 26th century.
* Call me maybe? Phone numbers are now tappable.

Have a great day!

Customer Reviews

Mobile version nice complement to Web version

I've regularly used Basecamp's Web app for several years because I like that it's not overly complex yet still a very effective and useful tool. Not all Web apps are converted well to mobile apps but I feel Basecamp is an example of one that has been. The way it works as a mobile app is quite different from the Web app yet still intuitive, easy to use, and powerful. I have the impression the developers work hard to maintain the quality of Basecamp because I've never encountered any bugs or glitches.

Good for project management, app needs work

Maybe I'm not using it the way it's "meant" to be used on mobile but Basecamp on iOS feels disorganized. The activity feed for projects isn't super useful to see. I'd rather just see upcoming deadlines and things that have been completed or assigned but not stuff that was created.

I wish I could go directly to the comments on a todo from the list view instead of having to go to the menu and comments or discussions instead.

Overall I love Basecamp and the app on iOS lets me get things done but it's just not intuitive at times. It's not a bad app and this isn't a bad review. It's an okay app for a great service that can and I assume will improve.

Perfect for projects with multiple people

I use Nozbe for my every task list. But this program is fantastic for coordinating a project with multiple people, multiple documents, and discussion for various items. I love the timeline function to keep up to date on the latest. My favorite part is the daily or periodic emails when something has been modified. Really helps to stay on top of a project and keep everyone on the same page.
