Customer Reviews

Marvel Limited

I have been a comic fan since I was a kid, and always loved the “big 2” publishers; Marvel and DC. My faith in Marvel waned over the past several years, but I held true that things would get better. This Marvel app has officially destroyed my hopes in it. I pay every month to be able to read Marvel comics and do you know what I can’t do? Read Marvel comics. No matter what comic, no matter what issue, it gives a 3 page preview. I tried downloading the issues for offline reading, I tried deleting and re-downloading this “Unlimited” Marvel catalogue, and I even tried contacting customer support. I have gotten nowhere, and I use the company name (Marvel) as many times as I can in this brief review to remind you of exactly what publisher you’re reading and how they enjoy treating their readers. End of the day, all this Marvel app does in terms of unlimited is leave me with Unlimited Disappointment. Stick with Comixology or just hitting up your Local Comic Shop. You’ll end up saving money by not flushing it into this broken glorified picture gallery and getting a better time with either choices. So once more, thanks Marvel, for leaving such a sour taste in my mouth, and reminding me that the only good content you produce for fans now are summer blockbusters.

Getting better all the time

While I have been a fan of marvel (for a long time), and, of course, a loyal and happy subscriber to Unlimited, I have found some faults with the app. Thankfully, and with very little input from me, it seems about every bad quirk, fault and/or buggy part of the app is dwindling down with every update. Thank you Marvel, both for making this service great, and always continuing to improve it. I haven’t used the website version in awhile (which could use the same treatment if it hasn’t already), but, baring this in mind, I’m now hopeful in thinking of doing so again in the future.

Crash crash crash

I love this app. I read all the reviews and I disagree with the negative ones. There are a few issues every once in a while but for only $9.99 a month for thousands of comics, this awesome. No other comic book company is offering anything close to this. Comixology does a subscription now too but you don’t get any of the main titles to read. This is still hands down the best deal for comic book reading. I’ve read at least 1,000 books with this app for only $9.99 a month. I highly recommend it.
