Great so far
I like the simplicity of this app. You can get started the moment you open it. No waisting precious time on setting up your profile or calibrating. I mean, it took me this long to finally wake up and put my work out clothes on, I'm glad I don't have something else I can postpone my workout with. The exercises are pretty self explanatory, but you may want to check out the explanation of a couple at some point to make sure you're doing what they intend. It keeps you moving, but also allows you to pause, if say, you forgot your chair for the tricep dips. This seems like a great way to squeeze in a little exercising between my full time job, our long commute, our two year old, and trying to have friends. Now I just need to stick to it!
The watch app could be much better
I literally squealed with excitement when I saw that my favourite workout app was making an Watch app, but then I tried using it...
First off, I was a bit upset that the workout playlist that I had set up to play on my Apple TV via AirPlay was abruptly halted the second I started the workout from my watch; why can't the voiceover just fade in/out like it does through the iPhone!?
Secondly, the watch app is not the most stable; I had to restart my workout three times because it constantly quit on me.
And finally, I was disappointed to notice that the entire system is dependent on the iPhone; I was really hoping to not have to rely on my phone. For instance, instead of using the iPhone's speakers for instructions, why not take advantage of the watch's own speakers and Taptic Engine?
I was also let down to see that the app still hasn't implemented HealthKit. Until these things are fixed, I am once again in search of yet another workout app. I'd love to end my quest with the perfect app: one that has a beautiful design, an exceptional watch app, full HealthKit integration, voiceover that works with the display in sleep mode and allows for music to be played without a hitch.
Please, let yours be the one.
No excuses anymore!!!
I'm a busy mama of 4 daughters! While I just gave birth to my youngest (4 months), you all know what it's like to have a young baby...working out is impossible, especially if you have multiple children. But with this workout you can find 7 min increments thru out the day! Sometimes I'll squeeze in one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It's all good! I tried other workout videos, which are great, but could never finish them in it's entirety because my baby would start fussing. This way, at least I can finish a workout and mentally feel like I completed it. That can be half the battle.
Keep it up--you can do it!
