Don't let any stars below five fool you

When I heard about this I didn't think a lot about it I just Kinda thought it was another one of those apps like favor or something. But it's not, not at all the services so good that it's almost unreal. The selection of products you can purchase to have delivered to you are the basics and more and obviously it's going to grow and grow With more inventory of all types. Within four days of downloading the app I already used it twice sounds lazy but it's convenient and sometimes you can't go out in your car and do a simple task as it gets you off track of your own work. I work in the music industry and needed a large amount of champagne bottles for a client, our spring intern runner Hugh was supposed to go out and purchase the bottles of champagne apparently forgot so all i had to do was go on my phone find what I needed select the amount and Pay and put the phone back in my pocket and get back to my own work. took less than two minutes. I can go on and on about this but download it and try it yourself the prices or regular. If the game is on and you can't leave then this is the you want and I'll bet anyone 100 bucks that this is going to be the "new thing" for 2016 and The following years after that to

Cheers

Don’t bother

Short review: Don’t download and just use another delivery App OR call your liquor store directly.

Long review: Tried out the app tonight for the first time. Ordering was easy and got a confirmation e-mail as soon as the order was placed. After waiting for 45 minutes for the delivery, nothing had arrived yet..so I called MiniBar. After being on hold for 5 minutes, someone answered my call and informed me my order could take up to 60 minutes (there was no estimated time of delivery in the app OR e-mail). So I waited another 30 minutes with no delivery. So I called back to MiniBar and got put on hold immediately. After being on hold for 5-10 minutes, my call was answered by voicemail. At this point I decided to bypass MiniBar and just call the liquor store directly - which was much more informative than dealing with whomever answered my call at MiniBar. I was told they were busy, but my wine was out for delivery. So far it’s been 1hr 45 minutes since ordered and we have YET to receive our order. MiniBar has not been helpful AT ALL in this frustration and I can guarantee we will never use them again (nor recommend them to anyone we know). Skip the hassle and just use another delivery app OR call the liquor store directly to place the order.

not the best service

so there's a $25 dollar minimum from each place you order from, which can make it kind of pricey. not the worst thing ever, but also not super convenient. the irritating part about it was that I ordered from the liquor store across the street and it took like 45 min for it to be delivered. on top of that, when the delivery guy arrived, a third person called me informing me that the delivery person was downstairs. buzzed the door to let him in and after five minutes of waiting went downstairs to find nobody there. called the person back, they called the delivery person back and an additional ten minutes later I got another call saying the person was downstairs and to go meet him there.

it's not that I'm so lazy and entitled that I can't walk across the street to get my booze (much less downstairs), however, the app asks for your apartment number so I figured they would deliver to my apartment. I was just under the impression that the delivery fee and tip was what allowed me to have it delivered to my door on a night that I wanted to stay in and lounge in my pajamas. again, it's not the worst thing ever, but given the prohibitive sale structure and the poor communication I wouldn't recommend the app.
