Miscellaneous legal and bug fixes
Easy multiple choice, not really "learning"
While it does introduce basic concepts of coding, it lacks in helping one understand syntax. I would suggest instead of multiple choice, which is too easy to guess without true understanding, allow the user to write the syntax correctly via repetition. Sure, one might have a very preliminary grasp of what Python and HTML LOOK like by the end, but they don't really have a true grasp of WHY. There was no real introduction to things like color: black. They just threw it into the multiple choice for one to guess. Overall, it's a good start, but seems like the programmers didn't quite grasp what it's like to know nothing about these languages. It leaves one feelings like they just guessed at a really easy multiple choice test with no real skills.
Mobile Coding === Awesomeness!
I'm really glad you've brought the educational coding experience to the mobile arena. I'm often away from my desktop, so having the convenience of mobile coding is really awesome! I'd love to see more lessons in the near future. Also, have you considered doing an app similar to this for young children. I have a 5 year old who would love to do these if there were a few animations, sounds, and colors to keep his attention. I think our next generation of programmers could really benefit from something like this.
Miss key component but good app for v1.0.5
App needs to link to website personal profiles. Understandable that it's not complete in its first version (1.0.5) with all web content but still should link me to my profile. View my account / progress should be my homepage not a lesson. Further if it doesn't encourage me to sign up what good is it to your cause? Sign up and login should be included in the next instillation. Other then that I'm sure I'm going to use this a lot in the future when more content becomes available. I'll keep checking back!
