Frustratingly horrendous functionality!
Not sometimes, but always, pages don’t load correctly. If you put anything in your cart it becomes A CHORE to keep it there! You truly have to reopen & reorder ea. item constantly. (Tip: I screenshot cart & call customer service with still only some luck.) Putting in filters (size, price, etc) is useless & items sort randomly. Then, there’s the inexcusable problem of trying to order Rack vs. Haute pages (content for both w/in but can’t recognize user or account), which the app can’t support functionally. Worst of all, NEVER pick an item that says “only blah blah quantity left” because it sends you to random, unresponsive pages worse than the already horrendous page back & forward unorganized shuffling to toggle from cart or wherever you were trying to browse.
Customer Care Reps say they’ve heard about these problems for quite some time & seem equally upset by the limitations in which they can help customers with the app. That being said, one time I reached an elevated rep able to extend cart timer & we retrieved a few ‘expired’ items that either disappeared from my cart but, unforgivable was that some were removed even after entering payment.
No issues with a return
I have only ordered a few times from this site. I did have a return due to a size issue (not quality issue) and fortunately there were no problems. I dropped it off at UPS store and received my refund in a reasonable amount of time.
Given that experience I will order again. The site offers petite selections that are not available in my area. There is a rack store an hour away from me but I would only go there if I wanted to make a return in person. I doubt I would find a satisfactory petite selection in the store which is the case with most department stores in my area. Wish these stores would get on board and offer the same quantity of petite sizes as they do with other sizing. Most of my shopping has to be done online.
Free shipping would be nice!!
Don’t have a comprised credit card!
First off I love the app and Nordstrom rack.. my issue is with customer service when attempting to return items purchased online at the brick and mortar store,, over the phone and in person ..
cashiers and customer service online in the evening were a complete failure and wasted 2 hrs of my time ,, the only solutions to returning my items for my money was to either credit a now nonexistent comprised credit card ridiculous or a Nordstrom card where I was forced to spend my money at their store I simply wanted my money back how difficult is that? After an hour store manager came and an hour later figured out how to get me my money back being it goes without saying it couldn’t be returned to a comprised credit card,, geez get a clue!
