not as great as it sounds
At first it was great. I found several job postings related to what I'm looking for, and after swiping right, I was later notified if my resume was reviewed by employer. I had 1 call for an interview using this app and 1 email requesting more information and confirmation for a future interview appointment. Turned out that the email job reply I got was a scam, which indicated me that this app does not verify the companies who offer jobs.
Since I didn't hear back from my first interview, I continue searching for job offers, changing the city in the filter option. Ever since I did this, the app has gone nuts. If I write Boston or New York City with a range of 50 miles with no specific job description, it shows there are no job offers (really, in cities of millions of people?!). When I type in a specific job, totally different job offers appear. For example, I typed Property Manager and the offers were related to IT, Data, Engineering, Oracle and they were only about 5 postings!!!
So no it is not a complete app, it has a lot to improve for job seekers and it needs to increase their job postings portfolio
Too good to be true
It sounds easy, right? Just swipe right to apply for a job! But in doing that, you let yourself become vulnerable to tons of scam jobs hidden throughout otherwise seemingly legitimate positions. As much as I dislike the traditional job hunting process, it's much more legitimate than a one click application process. After not even 24 hours, I've been contacted by 2 different companies that have no information on them online. This app does not vet any business offering jobs, so it's likely that most of them are scams just looking for another way to sucker people into working for them.
Horrible Search Features.
You log in, and the app basically searches for jobs, any job, within a specified radius. That's it.
It doesn't have you select what hours you're available to work, what positions you're qualified for, or even whether or not you'd like to work part-time/full-time.
I'm really disappointed in how lacking this app is, because it really has the potential to be a great tool to busy college students like myself.
I hope someone at Jobr actually takes reading customer reviews seriously.
