Description

When the major outlets aren't getting you breaking baseball, football, basketball, and hockey news fast enough, you need the Trade Rumors app! This is what actual GMs, players, and agents are using to get news first. Players often find out about their own trades first through us! You simply can't find anything else in the App Store that matches our standards of quality and timeliness in sports news. Now with push notifications and comments!

Features:

- News feeds for baseball, football, basketball, and hockey are loaded by default using content from MLBTradeRumors.com, ProFootballRumors.com, HoopsRumors.com, and ProHockeyRumors.com. Quickly scroll through left-to-right and tap on an image to read the article.

- Enable push notifications on any news feed and never miss a breaking story.

- Join the discussion! Discuss the breaking news with other users.

- Add news feeds for any combination of the 122 pro baseball, football, and basketball teams.

- Add news feeds for almost any player in these sports; thousands in all. This makes it easy to stay on top of your favorite players and trade/signing candidates as the rumors swirl.

- Filter any news feed to show only the top stories, if you prefer to see just the most crucial news. Reorder, add, or remove feeds based on whatever is most important to you.

- Tap on an article in one of your news feeds and swipe through all the articles in the feed without going back to the home page.

- Share articles through Twitter, Facebook, email, and text messages, and more.

Best App for Baseball News

This is by far the cleanest and most user friendly app for baseball rumors. I wish they did more "news" stuff, they do a lot but I still need to read local beat writers for my team.
However. Unlike many other apps who just act as aggregators the writers filter through and ensure a clean feed of rolled up baseball information.
Apps like Bleacher report throw in everything so you end up with a bunch of garbage and replication and therefore a messy, difficult to navigate UI.
THIS app is clean, easy to read and it has intelligent (mostly) fans commenting on stories. I've learned from them, changed positions on thing because there are fans who (if you're polite to them) will have an honest and frank baseball discussion.
BEST APP and WEBSITE FOR BASEBALL!!!

Life Changing

The two most important things in my baseball fandom have been discovering MLB trade rumors, and discovering the MLBTR app. The site was the first place I was able to find every baseball transaction and rumor. The app gave me notifications whenever a new transaction occurred, making me always the first of my friends to know. I highly recommending downloading this app, or at least connecting to the website, if you are any kind of baseball fan.

Site is awesome, app is mediocre

The content of the site itself is awesome... the app is just unstable and buggy despite being out for quite a while. Simple things like adding/removing and reordering feeds crashes the app and bugs out. After a while it builds up such a huge cache that a rather small app ends up burning up 1.5 GB of storage and there's no way to clear it without deleting the app.

I reiterate, though: the Trade Rumors sites are the best and just about my only source of sports news anymore.
