Lay out an idea with real assets like photos, text, shapes and fonts. Send the wireframe to Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC or Muse CC to refine and finish.
Graphic designers and artists can explore a concept using:
• Gestures that drop in placeholder text, basic shapes and editable text boxes.
• Guides and grids to align and work with spacing controls.
• Free fonts and from Typekit or third-party fonts installed on their device.
• Edit or rewind and export the idea from any point in its timeline.
• Send the idea to the desktop where it will automatically open in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or Muse.

BUZZ FROM USERS AND PRESS
“This is one of the best apps on my phone.” – George Butler
“Overall I love the progress this app has made. I’ve used it for professional layouts for web design ideas and it’s a great mobile design tool to get things going in a project for rapid iterations in the starting stages.” – Ben MacKay
“Firstly, I think Comp is a great application, so many times those sketches on paper are so much easier for expressing ideas and pop! This app turns that into a reality. I love having the app in my pocket so I can trial something if I have an idea while walking or commuting.” – Andrew Paul Hayward
You can also take advantage of other Creative Cloud services like:
Incorporate high-res, royalty-free photos and images as temporary or licensed assets.

Ratings and Reviews
Mastering some design software can take longer than creating the design itself, which is why Adobe Comp CC is such a breath of fresh air. Building layouts with intuitive touch gestures is an absolute snap, whether you’re working on an iOS app, a printed document, or a website. It’s a fluid, robust way to whip off quick designs on the go and share them with other Creative Cloud apps, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Overall, I LOVE this app, but there are some serious issues I have with it. The major one is a known issue that they have yet to fix. I’m a paid subscriber, and yet it keeps telling me that as a free user I cannot export at higher than 72dpi. There are some minor work-arounds for that (for my smaller projects anyway), but when I work on a larger project that has been a major problem.
The other thing that’s been an issue is that I cannot export with a transparent background. I can do this with other apps in the CC suite, the major one I use is Sketch, but not with this one. It annoys me because I’d love to be able to import typography into my sketches, and I can’t. I can only import art into Comp, which kinda works, but not as well. I do T-shirt’s and coffee mugs and such, and I really need transparency, and the fact that I can’t do it here almost defeats my use of the app at all....
3 years later not much improvement
A couple years back I was looking for an app to wireframe in quickly. Had just got an iPad Pro an thought it was the perfect time to move away from sketching ideas on paper..... unfortunately adobe decided to make 18 separate apps that each do 1 thing...sounds like fun. I need this app to have the freehand vector drawing power of the illustrator app, and then some type of interaction functionality. Right now it’s in like a weird limbo state, I can’t really start with ideas because it creates automatic shapes and doesn’t let me draw a simple line. But the illustrator app doesn’t let me type text...the closest thing I found was an app called Concepts. But that Concepts app has some of the worst UX, and everything important is behind a paywall. I already have an adobe subscription but to my dismay...they fell short on most of these iPad versions.
