INTRO
In medical school, we learn a lot about diseases and the basis for their management. However, we are traditionally less exposed to apparently easy problems like pain, nausea or hypokalemia. Quite often, those issues are brought to the attention of the nursing staff in the evening. At that time, the treating team is away and you're on call, running all over the hospital.

MD on Call gives you tips on how to QUICKLY assess and manage (acutely) common problems so you can go on assessing the next patient, or to your room to get some well deserved sleep. -- it is NOT meant to replace a textbook --

Great!

I've been using this application for the last few weeks. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Although I've been doing calls for almost 4 months now, there's still some situations where I could use some help. This App is almost like having a senior resident helping you out. I also really like the Labs section. I've been using it a lot, even when I'm not on call. Strongly recommended

Dr. BPW ,

Great app...almost there

The only thing missing from this app in my opinion is an "edit" function which is why I gave it a 4. I would like to be able to edit/modify the existing vignettes AND add my own vignettes. The developer is a busy resident, but responded to an email from me stating this was in the future...but they "want to do it right." I use this app regularly and would highly recommend it to med students, residents, or physicians (once the edit feature is present).

Great Intern/MedStudent/Crosscover help

Great app to refresh the basics in your head when you are going to see the patent. Chances are if you need this app you are going to be running everything by a senior... But it will help to not forget silly things
