Every track is a banger. I am far from disappointed in this raw uncut entry. The bar is set high for females in the industry

The Speed of God... I can dig it.

It's been a while since we've heard from LinQue, but now she's back with "GodSpeed". The production on the album is stripped raw, hardcore (As is her lyrics), and untainted. One of the good things of this kind of production is that it gives you an opportunity to focus on Lin's lyrics. This is where the CD shines. This is probably Lin's most personal album, judging from the lyrical content. She delivers from someplace turly real in her spirit. This is what connects the listener beyong something just musical. On "I'm Talkin' To Myles", she offers an open letter of instruction and encouragement to her seed. "Last Call" is an autobiographical that plays like one of the 12 steps in a substance abuse recovery program. LinQue seems to be reclaiming her life as her own after allowing outside influences to distract her from her destiny. This is the depth at which true hiphop, of any style, can resonate. Lin fills a void in hiphop. She's gorgeous enough to be able to base her success on her looks, but chooses to be build it upon skill and talent. Amen, Queen. My personal favorite tracks are "Godspeed", "Clap, ""Hip Hop Holy War", & "You Betta Tell Em". I'm glad LinQue is still grindin', and with luck and blessings, she'll be grindin' for years to come... all with Godspeed. --SLICE Host of "Two Terminals & A Microphone" on
