I Really Want "SOLD OUT" on I-Tunes

I don't know this album ... but I'm rating it high because I want other Fools albums to become available on I-Tunes. I've been searching for a couple of years now to see if "SOLD OUT" has made it, this is the first time I've seen anything from them. I guess I'm not a die-hard fan but I'd really like to get digital copies of "Psycho Chicken", "I Won't Grow Up", "Spent the Rent", "Night Out", "Mutual of Omaha", "A Night for Beautiful Girls", and all the other songs from that first album. It was 1979 or 80 (I can't remember the exact date) when I saw The Fools open for The Knack at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati. My date (later my wife) couldn't understand why I liked the opening act so much more than the headliners. The next day I bought the album and got the bonus green vynal 45, Psycho Chicken (Beeped) and (Clucked). This album holds sentimental value and it would really make my day to be able to download it.

Whaddya say we...

OK, this is a bit more "serious" than what you usually get from the Ipswich troubadors, but , what the hell, they earned the right after all the...foolishness. I cannot review this objectively, as I've enjoyed the hell out of the Fools since I first saw them at the Beachcomber/Nostalgia's many years ago. Many. Of course I'm gonna love it,it's the f-ing Fools! On ITunes no less! I second the previous requests for their back catalog on ITunes. I know the first two must be hard to get from EMI, but well worth the effort. I had my vinyls recently converted to CD, but I'd love to get them off of here with the sound quality. It's up to Apple. Plus, the band's site says they have no control over Heavy Mental and Sold Out, and they wouldn't lie...or maybe they would! Oh, yeah...the review. I love the Fools, this is a Fools album, it is excellent.

The Best Small Club Band in America ... For Years Now!

I've been looking for The Fools on I-Tunes for a couple of years now. Finally, what took you so long? I saw them at the Hampton Beach Casino back in the 80's. They were the warm up band for some girl fronted band (maybe Katrina and the Waves)... Almost everyone at the joint was there to see The Fools. It was awesome watching everyone walk out when that 2nd band played their first set. However, now that the Fools are here, where are the old favorites (Night for Beautiful Girls, She Makes Me Feel Big, Psycho Chicken, Life Sucks…Then You Die, Doo Wah Diddy)? Come on I-Tunes, cough 'em up!

With their wild and fun live show, Boston's the Fools brought the Tubes' sense of humor into the age of new wave and, like their New York City competition Blotto, had a minor novelty hit in the early '80s. Formed in 1975, the Fools became a favorite of Boston radio in 1979 when they released the song "Psycho Chicken," a parody of Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer." A longtime centerpiece of their live show, the song originally featured some nasty language, but the version radio received was edited or...
