Great album, bad Itunes policy
It's ridiculous that I can't buy just the Beck song. I either own everything else on the album or am not interested. Making someone buy a whole album just to get the one song they want just encourages piracy.
It's NOT an iTunes policy people, Jesus.
The record label that released the soundtrack most likely only obtained the rights to include said songs as a COMPILATION. Therefore, it would be a breach of contract to sell the songs individually, as the label that released the soundtrack would then be paid for sales of songs by just those individual artists, even though the artist may be signed to another label. It has nothing to do with iTunes, it has to do with the label's agreement to include particular songs on the soundtrack.
Did you like 'Wada Na Tod'?
This is an incredible movie with great music. Actually, "Wada Na Tod" is a Hindi song borrowed from Bollywood. Sad that it cannot be purchased as a song - you need to shell out money for the entire album. You may find the iMix "Bollywood Beyond Borders!!" especially useful to pick up a few more Lata Mangeshkar songs - the melody queen of India. There are other singers like Mohd. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Asha Bhosle etc. - great stuff!!
