Pure Flower Power!

Michael Flowers is one of the great undiscovered talents in music. A phenomenal guitarist and songwriter, he won acclaim at the age of 14 as a member of Copperhill. From there, he went on to share the stage with legends like Buddy Miles, Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Captain Beyond, The Marshall Tucker Band, Wet Willy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others. After a spiritual awakening, his life took a different course and ventually he became worship leader at San Francisco Vineyard. Michael is not only an excellent musician, he is also a man of great passion, integrity, and faith, all of which shine through brightly on this album. With Canada’s Chris Jantzen adding a number of superb vocal performances, Identified is strong from start to finish (OK, I’ll admit that “The Inside” is a little unusual). While it features a diversity of styles and influences, a number of the songs remind me of Coldplay (particularly on the latter part of the album). “In This Quiet Place” is my personal favorite, but other standouts include “I’ve Come”, “Take The Crown”, “Break My Heart”, and “Call Down The Rain.” This is a great album in both spiritual and musical terms. So go on. Get Identified!
