brendel is a master, red mosquito is an idiot

alfred brendel is THE living virtuoso pianist of classical middle european music. buy this. i only hope one day i can see/hear him in person. read his books. he is also a brilliant, wry intellectual whose interests may surprise you.

I prefer perahia playing Mozart rather than Alfred. I feel his playing more mechanical compared to perahia's which is more soulful. Perahia takes us to mozarts period which other pianists fail to do so. Music is also something which makes us travel in time.
