Two Masters in Hi-FI

Lets face if you are into the sax these are two of the guys you want to hear play it. What makes this record really fun is that on side one (Let's Do It, Anything Goes, Too Close for Comfort) Getz plays Baritone and Mulligan Tenor on side two they play their own instruments. I own the original LP and in the liner notes they mention a second session was to follow--guess I missed it--don't miss this one! Stan hand picked the players--Lou Levy on piano, Stan Levey on drums and Ray Brown on bass. What a great way to spend a first date--switchin' partners! Great Stuff! Get It! Ray K

These two are phenomenal!

Gerry Mulligan is the king of Bari and Stan Getz is a legendary tenor player. When these two come together it clicks amazingly. A whole lotta swing!
