Great heartbreaking docs
These are very well made docs that will make you cry, laugh and angry. A look into different aspects of gay individuals from different walks of life.
The best of Logo.
I have downloaded a few other shows from Logo, and have finished them unsatisfied and thought they were a bit bland. However, these documentaries are different. They are honest, touching, and unexpectedly rewarding. I especially enjoyed "The Two Cubas" and "Gidyup!...". Well worth the $1.99 fee.
I've always been very accepting of transexual and genderqueer people, but after seeing "Gender Rebel" and "Beautiful Daughters" it really allowed me actually understand the concept. Before seeing this series I didn't really know what identifying as transexual or genderqueer felt like but now I really understand what they go through and I just feel even more accepting towards those communities. I felt that "Love Lessons" was really essential to people who have just come out and are starting to date or anyone who is dating. "Love Lessons" really illustrates the issues and struggles that the LGBTQ community faces when dating. "Elephant in the Room" was rather interesting because it addresses the LGBTQ Republican community. I found it to be really interesting and eye-opening. Its a very good series that I would strongly recomend purchasing.
