The album didn’t sand away the roughness of his early work though, with tracks like “Searching” contrasting the smooth hooks of Wayne Wonder with Banton’s gravel-gargling delivery. Digital blips underpin the tough riddims of “Deportess (Things Change)”, while “A Little More Time” reveals the sweet, gooey core beneath Banton’s harsh outer shell.
