A different approach to destination guides.
Travelbrief looks as luxurious as it feels. Beautifully designed for browsing like a luxury magazine, the Dubai edition gives you the inside track on the best places to Eat, Drink, Shop, Stay and Play in the city. The Perfect Weekend guides you through a decadent couple of days (if you need some more inspiration) and Useful Information gives you the local knowledge to guide you through it.
Flick through the pages, zoom into listings, call, link to web and email, call up maps, share it with your friends, register for news and updates... travelbrief does the work so you can have the fun! All text and image content is embedded in the application so you can view it offline, in your own time. The only time you need an internet connection is to link to web or Google Maps. (Telephone links do not work with iPod Touch, of course.)
Next editions include:

Worth as much as I paid for it...
1. The design looks nice at first glance, then I realized that I recognized it from somewhere. The design is a rip-off of Monocle. 2. The 'application' is basically not more sophisticated than a PDF file and doesn't feel very interactive. 3. The small type is not optimized for the screen size. 4. The writing is awful. Eg: "trendy brands". 5. Some listings are out of date. Eg: "Trilogy" has not existed for over 12 months! It just feels like someone copied info from a Time Out magazine from 18 months ago. 7. Some of the photos are nice.
Copied from Time-Out Dubai last year's edition...or the year before even...
