Very bad customer service
I’m a Neo account holder. But I’m not satisfied with their service. They cheated me saying that they will give me cash back. Also I was requested them many times to change my account type from minimum balance to zero balance as it was opted by me by mistake. Even though they have sent me email confirming that my case is resolved they are deducting AED 25 every month. When I contacted with customer care the representative told me all problems are resolved; nothing to do more. But when I transferred some amounts to the account they deducted AED 25 again. So I contacted the customer care again after long time one representative attended my call and after verification she told me that still my account is not changed from maintaining minimum balance to zero balance; then what they are intending by the confirmation message that my case has been resolved? I couldn’t understand. I have contacted customer care for this issue more than ten times; but the service was very bad; still I’m facing the problem.

Over 45 days of wait for account opening and several calls to the customer care, all I received in response is - "we have emailed and escalated your case to the concerned department, you will receive a call within 2 days". And this is supposed to be a digital service, an instant service from the comfort of home.
Chose Emirates NBD product - LIV, 2 minutes signup, welcome kit received next day and now my sales & field team (11 pax) are hooked on to it. I looked for a digital payments solution and I am happy it wasn't Mashreq Neo.
And I am sure, I shall receive an email ID from an amateur social media account handler asking for details of my application be sent to solve the issue. So what about those multiple emails "escalated" to the concerned department. Why not address your customers at the beginning? Why wait till a negative review is published? Why spend money on cartoons in your ads and pay platforms to run ads gazillion times? Why not use money to rectify internal processes and efficient handling of tasks?
And this is not just my opinion, I've come across a handful that report the same experience with Mashreq.
Mashreq, your Digital banking service is currently a digital disgrace. "Cool" (not so cool) Ads and well designed apps are not the only ingredients for success.

Worst of the Worst
I am a very old customer of Mashreq Bank and never faced a problem with them.
I opened my account in Mashreqneo 1 month ago and called almost everyday to followup on my welcome kit. Customer service people are of no use. They are sleeping. It seems they cannot do anything cuz it is another department that is responsible. They dont even know i guess why they are sitting at customer support when they cannot support at all. The responsible department never calls for anything. I tried every possible thing to get my welcome kit but nothing worked.
I suggest never to apply for mashreqneo.
You guys have the worst customer service and you guys are just spoiling the name of your bank.
I was quiet happy with mashreq band services but never new neo would be at its worst!
