Freeze Customer's Accounts-They Make Possible!
This bank is notorious for freezing customer's accounts without notice, excuse or reason. Customers are denied access to their own money for days while you they try to find someone to reason with. At the end, Mashreq's favorite excuse is KYC and some phantom Compliance Department that doesn't have an office, a number, or employees. Truth is this bank has invested in some automated software that analyzes customers transactions and freezes accounts automatically even when there is zero risk! If you're traveling overseas better make sure you have other accounts at other banks and other credit cards to fall back on. They have left thousands stranded abroad. They act with arrogance and impunity.

Been a user of Mashreq Snaap from the beginning of its launch. Its a very convenient and dependable app. Provides all the details of your Mashreq account instantly with a scan of your finger tip or password. However there is currently no provision to know the how many Salaam points are going to get expired or which all purchases generates or entitles the account holder to salaam points. If this issue can be addressed and rectified by mashreq, this would be a even better app.
