In this episode Stephannie teaches you how to integrate Yoga in our every day life by following simple practices. She also shares her spectacular meditation formula Pause N.O.W which is described below

    Pause N.O.W.

    NOTICE /
First your physical body, just feel it and observe what’s happening. Then your breath and heart beat, watch both for a moment. Finally your mind, imagine you’re a fly on the wall inside your own head, listen.

    OPEN
This moment is an opportunity to be intentional if you’re open to it. You can shift your unwanted patterns if you recognize that the unwanted pattern (of stressing, worrying, etc) is an opportunity to try something different.

    WISH
Decide on a course of internal action. How do you want to think? How do you want to feel? What type of person do you want to be? Align your next, simple action with the answers to these questions. I wish to be calm, so I’ll focus on this one thing right now. I wish to be strong, so I’ll acknowledge my fear and match it with courage. I wish to be balanced, so I’ll say no to taking on more. Focus on your wish for
yourself, it’s the only thing you can definitely do something about.

Limiting Beliefs And How To Question Them

Limiting Beliefs And How To Question Them

This podcast is based on my latest article in the HuffPost on yet another topic close to my heart- Beliefs and Limiting Beliefs & how they impact you in a major way! Do you remember a time when you wanted to pursue a goal but didn’t because you failed to perform it well the first time? Or a time when you didn’t voice your opinion in a meeting for fear of being rejected or judged? Well, that was a limiting belief holding you back. A limiting belief is a false belief that a person holds true based on incorrect or incomplete conclusions about certain things in life. All human beings have a tendency to be negative, some being more prone to it than others. However, when these beliefs turn into toxic thought traps that sabotage your progress, they need to be addressed promptly. The good news is that with a little practice and discipline, you can avoid succumbing to these mind-chattering gremlins and stop them right in their tracks!

In this podcast, you will learn questioning techniques that can help you to distance yourself from debilitating thoughts and allow you to view situations more objectively. However, for self-questioning to work more effectively, you need something else too and that is to stop believing in the myth that someone else will come to your rescue. Trust YOURSELF to be your own best rescuer! Why? Simply, because who else could be a better expert in your life than YOU YOURSELF? Your only limit is You!
Ultimately, you own and control the most powerful weapon that can help you to GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY- YOUR BRAIN

Do not underestimate its power - it will play a pivotal role in your success. By repeatedly telling your brain that it can achieve something, you can train it to think affirmatively, so make sure you feed it with positive and ‘can do’ thoughts only. After all as Henry Ford, aptly put it; ‘Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right!

    Work Place Bullying & Harassment

    Work Place Bullying & Harassment

Publicly trashing ideas with the intention to belittle others, scoffing and dismissing any suggestions or proposals made in meetings, openly making snide remarks and frequently denouncing fellow team members at work; these are some of the common characteristics that categorize bullies at work.

American bullying experts Drs. Gary and Ruth Namie define bullying as a “Repeated, health-harming mistreatment of a person by one or more workers that takes the form of verbal abuse; conduct or behaviors that are threatening, intimidating, or humiliating; sabotage that prevents work from getting done; or some combination of the three.”

The bully aims to assault the dignity, trustworthiness, competence, and self-worth of the target to derive personal gains or sadistic satisfaction, often leaving the target feeling responsible, guilty, isolated and confused.

So what can we do to stop these baddies in their tracks?
