Album Review

Cinderella returned from their self-imposed exile in late 1994 with Still Climbing, a gritty record that shows them building upon the bluesy hard rock of Heartbreak Station. Arguably, it boasts a more consistent song selection and tougher sound than Heartbreak, yet radio and MTV were resistant to the band's classic good-times-and-hard-rockin' attitude and the record disappeared soon after its release.

Cinderella's best album to date

This is by far the best Cinderella album to date. It built on the heavy blues influence present on the Heartbreak Station album. And it was done at a time when Tom Keifer had a lot of stuff going on in his life. The problems he was having with his voice, that started at the end of the Heartbreak Station tour. And the reason for the song "Hard to Find the Words" His mother being diagnosed with cancer and dieing of it. It shows that Tom is human like everybody else and that to him there is more to life then sex drugs and rock and roll. my personal favorite song from this album is All Comes Down. Talk is Cheap and Free Wheelin are old demo tracks from before Cinderella's Night Songs album, redone for this project. So if you like the Heartbreak Station album, or Cinderella in general, this album is definately worth the price. And seeing as how it looks like it might be the last piece of studio material we ever get from Cinderella...

All Comes Down Rocks

still, cinderella's best albums are their first two albums.

Love this band!

There is something about Tom Keifers voice that just sends chills down my back every time I hear him. I love this album! Favorite song, "Through the rain" and "Hard to find the words". Every song on this album is iPod worthy...though my 14.6gb iTouch is full as of this albums purchase and I gotta start deleating stuff, BUT this CD and the rest of Cinderellas CD's will survive the cut! This band IS one of the best bands to emerge from the 80's! I saw them in, never forget that baby grand coming down from the celing with Tom playing it!! So as with those 80's bands such as Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Ozzy (been around longer than the 80's but hey he came back) and the others from that era that keep going, I hope Cinderella will as well, because todays bands just don't cut it! Keep up the good work guys!

Hard rock band Cinderella gained success in the mid-'80s, turning out a series of million-selling albums and hit singles while placing music videos in heavy rotation on MTV. By the mid-'90s, the group's mass popularity had subsided due to professional setbacks and perceived changes in taste. But they continued to tour regularly well into the 21st century. Cinderella was founded in Philadelphia, PA, in 1983 by singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist Tom Keifer (born January 26, 1961) and bassist...
