Customer Reviews

I have only heard 'Bad Day', but...

It's pretty damn good. I was looking through my friends iPod, and he had a bunch of his siters music on his. I see Daniel Powter, and I know I've seen that name before, so I listen. At first, I think "Oh great, another crappy, pop song that'll be overplayed." After about 3 more listens, I LOVE this song. It's really good, and I haven't heard it on the radio once. Highly recommended, I just wish I had gotten it when it was a free download.

For Those of You Who Recognize the Big Name

I know. I know. Daniel Powter is awesome and "Bad Day" and "Free Loop" are 2 fantastic tracks, but he's not even the best artist on this Sampler. Here's a quick look at the other artists on here. Missy Higgins: If you live in SF like I do then you might already have heard scar on Alice radio, but if you don't then check her out. "Scar" is great lyrically and the slow ballad "All for Believing" is ear candy. Caleb Kane: If you watch Conviction that you've already hear his track "In Your Own Way", check out all of this guy's stuff, its all good. This guy is going places. Bonnie McKee: Don't be fooled by the little gospel sound on "Somebody" and "Trouble", this girl has four times the talent of a pop princess and her sound is fantastic, and even a little bit hard at times. Johnathan Rice: You might hate me for saying this, but "Kiss me Goodbye" reminds me of Counting Crows and this guys balladeering on "Break So Easy" softens the heart. And that's saying something. Check out the stuff on here and check out the artists other stuff, its all really good.

It's cold outside...have a coffee and relax

I love this sampler. Simple melodic music that helps you relax. All the artist in this sampler are excellent!
