Not the real thing

Centerfold may be cool as are a couple of other songs in this album but J. Geils Band were never ever anywhere near punk or new wade. They were an R&B band with an old rock feel. They were really good musicians but that had nothin to do with it. So, this is what's called taking a free ride. It may have worked commercially for a while since they scored two hits here. But for the most part, it sounds like a second rate Cars album.
