Great stuff !

An ageless hit from a master! Such a unique voice ...
Entertaining, never superficial.
Deep, never boring ...
A classic.

Awesome Live Recording!

Form the first beat this was one of those stellar Sanborn moments.

Great performance!

What a treat is to listen to David Sanborn and his wonderful band playing Chicago Song Live! This song has it all, great melody and harmony, intro and ending that wrap up the song in a perfect way, and above it all,
non stop groove that moved me each end every second of the song.
David Sanborn as always, is absolutely on fire, and everything he does is top of the line. His unique phrasing, articulation, how he presents the melody, clarity of ideas during his solo and the constant fire he brings to the music, is one of a kind.
Something that grabbed my attention and I found fascinating is how the vocals interacts with the saxophone in the middle of the song, it comes in a perfect timing and adds a fresh color. Same as the counter keyboard lines.
I also loved the different sections and all the places the song goes,
which makes into a beautiful story.
They sound like a working band that listen and communicate with each other on the highest musical level,
and for me it is always inspiring to hear that!
