Are people critiquing the release date or the album?

Because this album deserves no less than 3 stars, period. It's a true classic, and was able to be re-released for a reason. Ignore the release date that iTunes has posted, ignore that there's newer albums out, and focus on what we should really be reviewing, the music. There are some great tracks on this album. If you're a fan of Groove Armada, I guarantee you will find some gems on this album that will make it worth your purchase.


While of course every track that they make is unique, Groove Armada is very much like Pepe Deluxe with less atmospheric detail, and more groovey funk. Keep on Funkin. Maybe Outkast could do a song with them. Hey!

London dance duo Groove Armada consist of Tom Findlay and Andy Cato. The group formed in the mid-'90s after Findlay and Cato were introduced by the latter's girlfriend and soon started their own club, also named Groove Armada (after a '70s discotheque), which featured their spinning. By 1997 they released a handful of singles, including "4 Tune Cookie" and "At the River"; their debut album, Northern Star, followed the next year. Issued in 1999, Vertigo made the Top 20 of the British charts and silver...
