iTunes Review

Shania's stylistic reach is so great that any collection of her joyous '90s and early '00s country faces two big questions: Which singles? And, even more importantly, which versions? Greatest Hits preempts debate by pulling something for every taste. Playful dis "That Don't Impress Me Much" gets a dance mix that retains just enough twang, while "Party for Two" goes twice: first as a boisterous, Mark McGrath-assisted pop tune, then as boot-stomping jam with Billy Currington. Meanwhile, saucy blues grinder “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” transcends genre with one outrageous take.

Great CD of course cause who doesn't like Shania? She is much more than a pretty face of course. Songs such as "Honey, I'm Home", "Don't Be Stupid", "Party For Two", and "I Ain't No Quitter" shows her countryness.

I'm not much of a fan of country, but I still enjoy this album more than many others. Sure, many of the songs aren't exactly "pure country" and contain pop-i-ness, but I can hear the country roots in many of the songs, but I find them to be so great that I don't care. Shania Twain makes me enjoy country, and that's really saying something. This album has quite a few songs and I enjoy almost everyone of them. I agree with whoever said "whether pop or country" the album is well worth the purchase, couldn't have said it better myself. This album is addicting! Watch out! ^-^

Worth Every Penny

Regardless of it being pop or country, if there is one Shania album to own, this one is it. All her hits plus some new recordings, this shows why she is one of the most successful female artist (all genres!) of all time!

Emerging in the mid-'90s, Shania Twain became the most popular country music artist since Garth Brooks. Skillfully fusing mainstream, AOR rock production with country-pop, Twain and her producer/husband, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, created a commercial juggernaut with her second album, The Woman in Me. The record became a multi-platinum phenomenon, peaking at number five on the pop charts and eventually selling over nine million copies in America alone. Twain might have sold a lot of records, but like...
