Great album! Ten Snows is my favorite track! Listen to this if you want to hear some quality hip-hop...

Truth defined

This album is rare, particularly in this day and age in that it can be listened to straight through. This doesn't meant that the songs need the context of the others to be understandable, but having the whole album straight through makes them more enjoyable. This album is beautiful in that is speaks of truth in our world. Truth that is not always pretty, easy, or even what we would prefer, but such is life. For me, this album holds a mirror up to a society that lives only for it's next pleasure or fulfillment without concern for others and perhaps even more scarily, without concern for ourselves more than 12 hours in the future. A society that only exists in the now and without aspiration leaves a trail of hurt to be unfortunately followed by those behind it. This album both sonically and lyrically shows the scary and damaging part of us that so often we choose to let out because to let out the good is to be vulnerable, and we have become no longer capable of that. To me, this album gets better every time I listen to it as I find another lyric or phrase that so masterfully catches the human condition that we don't like yet continue to keep ourselves locked into as we are too scared to see the vulnerability that waits on the other side. This album does this all the while maintaining through it's entirety an air of hope that all of this hurt and fear that we have come to accept is really an illusion, and the cycle can be broken, we just must be willing to break it.

Great album through and through.

Love to see JS still grinding. They deserve far more attention then they recieve.
