Childhood part deux

As a child my family kept an LP, (that's a large disc made of vinyl with small grooves in it, generally used to keep recordings of songs and music) of the Grand Canyon Suite. Though I have never been there myself, I can easily imagine it with this digital recording. And prayerfuly, one day, when I do go, I'll play this as my family approaches. Enjoy!


All of the pieces are good, but Niagara Falls is my favorite. The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps did it in 2000 as their show in DCI (Drum Corps International) and it was sweet. Google it!

Formed in 1893 by Sir Dan Godfrey, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (it should be noted that the orchestra was eventually based in Poole, but maintained the original name for tradition's sake) became a world-class and world-traveled orchestra, performing in New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna (to name but a few).
