Everybody loves "The Planets," including me. But the best thing Gustav Holst ever wrote, in my humble opinion, was "Egdon Heath," which you may find on this affordable collection from Naxos. You have to listen to all 12:48 of it to understand why I think so, and you'll have to buy the whole album in order to do that. The other music in this collection is all very listenable, especially Hammersmith and the brilliant little "Fugal Overture."
