Dvorak Symphony No. 2--Legends Op. 59

First, Symphony No. 2 is in d minor, not B major. Secondly, this performance is of poor quality, with intonation problems throughout, and ensemble weakness. The production quality is low, resulting in imbalance in the symphonic sound as well. I purchased this for professional purposes, intending to listen repeatedly before performing this music. It was such a poor example that I had to find another source. I can appreciate that the orchestra may have had a limited budget, but mis-labeling the key is a huge faux pas.

First, Symphony No. 2 is in B-flat Major while the old No. 2, which is now No. 7 is in d- minor. Okay now that that is straightened out...ignore her post since she cannot tell the difference between the real No. 2, which was published after Dvorak's death and the old No., which was published during his lifetime.
