Customer Reviews

Very enlightening.

For a while, i thought that Ravel, Stokowski, and Ashkenazy were the only people who have successful re-orchestrations of Pictures at an Exhibition. I was Wrong. This CD shows Leonard Slatkin selecting a wide variety of re-orchestrations of this work, and making a huge stew of Mussorgsky. I really like this-buy it.
