Incredible!!

After purchasing Sir Colin Davis conducting the London Symphony Orchestra's performance of Dvorak's 9th (which I strongly recommend as being the best performance I've ever heard recorded or live of that symphony) I decided that I wanted to explore Dvorak's other masterpieces. Online I had seen some performances of Myung-Whun Chung conducting Dvorak's 9th so when I stumbled on this album I thought I'd give it a shot. It's an absolutely gorgeous performance of Dvorak's 7th and 8th. I now own several performances of both of those symphonies and this is the performance I keep going back to. Second to his 9th I hear most people rave about his 8th, but the truth is that his 7th is an emotional masterpiece. There's so much passion in it and within this performance. This album actually convinced me that his 7th is my favorite above his 9th. Take a chance with this album and you'll love it too.
